A licensed clinical aesthetician is a professional who has specialized in skin care, especially non-invasive cosmetic, and laser treatments. Clinical aestheticians are trained and licensed skin care specialists who work together with other medical and beauty professionals in medical settings like beauty spa, spa clinics doing laser and light-based procedures.
Clinical estheticians help patients with skin conditions, skin traumas and aging skin to heal and rejuvenate the appearance of the skin. Estheticians can administer chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser therapy, and potent acids. We offer all courses modules for your clinical aesthetics license.
The Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia, is currently working on the clinical aesthetics license and can soon come in effect.
